General practitioner in Prague since 1985
Since 1993 till 2003 teacher at the Postgraduate Medical School in Prague, involved primarily in organizing postgraduate training in general practice. In 2003 appointed as a head of the Department of General Practice at 1st Medical Faculty.

Member of working group on practical guidelines on dyspepsia, peptic ulcer, reflux disease and NSAID gastropathy management
